Hey There,

First of all. Wow. What an amazing product you guys have in AwayBuilder. It makes my workflow 10x faster. Thanks!

Secondly, I came across a little issue, and I was hoping I am doing something wrong, because otherwise it’s a bug in the Builder I think:

- I have opened a “project” in AwayBuilder.
- I imported another .obj into the existing “project”.

When I change the y-position of the new .obj ( +1500 ), the position is fine in AwayBuilder as in, at the right location.

However, when I save the .awd and parse it in my flash builder app, the y-position it a lot higher than in the builder. I tried reopening the awd and it opens it at the right position in awaybuilder, but unfortunatly, not in the browser.

I checked my code and the only thing I do with the awd is parse it and add it to the physics library. I don’t touch the y-position of the mesh in the code.

What could I be doing wrong?

Thanks in advance,

-Q

What version/Branch of Away3D you using? Dev Master 4.1?
Asking as AwayBuilder would have been built with an older version of Dev.
So maybe thats the difference.
Could try to checkout an older version of Dev through Git.
Or rebuild AwayBuilder with latest Dev.

Although on re reading post.
At least check its position without adding to physics.
So you can eliminate that.

Thanks for the quick reply JohnBrookes!

I am using 4.1.6 gold as engine for my website/project.
Could that be a difference?

Tried the physics engine thing, wasnt it :(
