Hi team, great new site smile

I’ve been meaning to post this demo for a while now, and seeing the new site inspired me to finally get my act together. It’s important to make customers aware of the quantum leap Flash and Away3D are going through, even if none of us really know when we’ll actually get to use it!

Enjoy!

oO you always blow my mind with your latest demo. Are you doing anything in the code for LoD or is it just the built-in functionality?

Ahhhh, damn! Its not working for me. I try to move the the camera with the mouse and nothing happens, if I try to use the keyboard I get this error: TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.

Thanks you lovely people smile

Choons, there’s no LOD, it’s pure “brute force” even though on my machine CPU never goes over 6%! It’s a home rolled physics simulator. I tried with Jiglib, but the Broomstick version is more or less exclusively for driving games so far.

Alejandro, sorry to hear your story. I removed the rogue keyboard listener. Have never experienced loss of mouse control in Molehill. Did you manage to try it on another machine?

Sadly my main summer project looks set to move over to Unity3D so I won’t get to play with Broomstick for a while. I wish Adobe would say *something* about a release date, it’s driving me nuts!

Cheers, have a great weekend!

Hi Peter. I just revisited the demo, but it’s not displaying any more? Think you have time to check it? I wanted to show it to a friend smile

Hi Jens,

It’s updated to run with the F11 beta. Must change that link under the demo….

Let me know if you still can’t see it.

Cheers

Pete
