well Microsuck is at it again. Just read this how they are releasing a no-plugins version of IE with Windows 8. Expect that trend to continue- until IE finally dies the death it deserves

They just canney handle the power…

Apple is evil, when I turn my phone on it plays the animation of Android taking a leak on an apple.

Also note….

All those people using Internet Explorer (any version), if you break this web browser, you break the windows operating system. Micronoobs built windows to use so much of IE that if it breaks you break the OS!

It’s really really annoying. So don’t browse with it, don’t open it, remove all short cut links and download Chrome or Firefox and your windows os will live a longer less problematic life.

And to complete my hatred for IE, flash doesn’t work the same in IE7 as it does in IE9 compared to other browsers! Events can get fired and not even called (love that 1), text miss alignments, alphas may not work on text fields where the font is embedded where as it works in everything apart from IE… and lots more.

IE does nothing right, it’s javascript, css is different to all the rest aswell. They really really need to stop it from being a web browser.

My views in a list lol

Windows 7 = Love it
Windows 8 = I don’t want all my stuff on the web!
Microsoft = Hate
IE = Hell for all
Apple = Evil, they must die
Android = Ooo yes
Linux = Oooo yes, oh wait come on Adobe give us all your tools for this!
FireFox = Slow, Don’t like the way it accesses all my harddrives on startup, but it’s nice and great tools
iPad 2 = You bought that? Oh, it’s great m8, oh dear… Is it too late to take it back?
Glaxay Tab 10.1 = Very nice, runs flash too, sweet
Chrome = There is a hope
Google = May they crush Apple and Microsoft and become more of a super giant than they are! All hail google! lol

Apple and Sumsung had a partnership of some kind, till Apple turned dark size and done that to them. It’s been overturned and brought back so many times that nobody knows what’s going on. But I think it’s just Germany now that’s not allowed to sell them.

I recently cooked up an Away3D 3.6 cube menu tree presentation which is running on 1 of them. Lovley machines. Yet again Sumsung kick apples ass. And the Android OS on it is very nice. It’s far superior than the iPad 2.

Samsung obviously are pissed with Apple and resulting in Samsung now partnering with Google! Sweet!

Samsung Galaxy S1 and S2 mobiles are just a mini version of the Galaxy Pad. And they allow you to fully install each new version of the Android OS as it comes out, this goes the same for the Pad. And it’s all free! XDA forums. iPhone and iPad just don’t stand a chance.

Give it a bit more time and I bet it will be running quite stable lol Linux love it.

They have managed to actually install Ubuntu on the Galaxy S1 and S2 mobile phones too. But probably best to stick to remoting it via the phone eg

meh. its just el reg doing the usual sensationalism.

“The desktop app continues to fully support all plug-ins and extensions.”

“On Windows 8, consumer sites and “line of business” applications that require legacy ActiveX controls will continue to run in the desktop browser, and people can tap “Use Desktop View” in Metro style IE for these sites. “

nothing to see move along now.

What John said.

There’s an *additional* browser without plugin capability, just to fit in graphically with their new OS. So what? If it runs OK, I’d probably use it for webmail and anything else I want to keep open as part of the desktop display.

Yeah, it’s just for the “metro interface” version of IE, which no one will want to use on a desktop anyway because it’s like a mobile browser (full screen only, clunky tab support, no right-click->save as, etc. etc.)

I’ve been playing around with Windows 8 the last couple days, and now I really wish Adobe would start properly supporting Linux so I can abandon Windows before 8 is released, I really don’t want to have to pay the Apple tax! :D

I think with the 3D stuff that is likely to come out with the release of FP11, it might well be the turning point where people say “Erm… why can’t I play the demo level of Halo 5 online like everyone else can?”

Speaking of mobile devices, seen this?
