Worth noting, you don’t necessarily need 3 layers. For a GUI you can also just have a Starling layer over Away3D.

I was referring to a possible use case - sure one Starling layer works as well.

Also, I did use these tutorials (I included a link to the interop one). While they provide a good starting point, I needed a sample of how to organize the different classes in a more structured way.
