I think it would be very helpful to have a section on this forum where people share visual effects and performance achieved with the help of Away3d 4.0, as well as asking questions is reached one way or another in their beauty 3d games and the like.

It’s like “how achive to turning off direction light in close one rooms (like walking in room from outside)” and etc..

I would be happy to present my achievements in this section, and also would not mind helping those in need.

Again after releasing Away3d 4.0 Gold I think it’s need to be done.
Now and I have a question:

How did SFX in Nissan Juke 3D game when switching color of the car ?
What isntruments I need use to do same effects ?

Hello Shegl,

Lately I’ve been looking at this myself and here’s my findings -
The color switching & the drive mode special effects has been developed using custom shaders. A nice tutorial about this effect (using Flare3D’s FLSL) can be found here -

What most of us do now is reinventing the wheel for simple things that already exist in other engines. Away3D needs an asset store. People will gladly pay for the toolkits and shaders and many will participate.
Away3d is falling behind, I hope Rob and others do something about this.
