When you’re struggling to get your shadows working, or your imported model “looks wierd” it’s nice to know that it IS possible with the Stage3D and a couple of million development hours to make truely gorgeous graphics.

Take this demo. You may have seen the video, but now you can try the Unreal engine out for yourself in the browser.

Note it requires 11.2, not the current standard download.

Take solice in the fact that this is technically possible, today, and there should be many more performance boosts to come, not to mention the continued development of our beloved Away3D 4.0

you could do all that now with Away. The shadows are baked into the model. Find a tree and watch its shadow, doesnt move.

Really like the way the lens flare manages to go through solid rock. smile
