I would really like to see bone scaling supported in skeletal animation. Any plans for this?

definately seconding this request. Scaling bones makes customisable 3d characters possible. Are there any hardware limitations affecting this inclusion?

Yeah, i think joint-scaling should be added, but optional.

As pointed out earlier, joint-scaling will very useful for advanced stuff like character customization.

But with enabling the scaling, we will lower the max possible number of joints, that can be calculated on GPU. So i think for “normal” skeleton-animation, it is most important, to use the GPU resources in a way, that we can have as much joints as possible (no scaling).
