Problem with ScenePosition

Hi, (Away4)
If I load a 3DS object (with some meshes), then the mesh…sceneposition property Y and Z parameter be inverted in some case. I don’t know the depending but there are some case when the sceneposition is OK.

The 3DS objects made and exported with Blender 3D in same axis orientation.

If somebody have a solution I wil be grateful smile  thx

This is a common issue between software packages and Away3D. The 3 solutions are, 1) rotate your model before exporting it, 2) rotate you model when it arrives in Away3D, 3) In some exporters there is a flag to stipulate “Y is up”

I know that sounds more like a workaround than a fix, but it’s the same if you’re exporting from Maya to MAX, even though they’re made by the same company!
