HI All. I am having a very strange (to my opinion bug ) .I setup a plane for the floor. Then I load some meshes with animations (md5) + textures. If I also add a HoverController ,my floor plane disappears .That happens if I add the controller before I load the models. But if I do it after the load the floor is visible but the models are not!
Anyone has ever experienced such a thing ?
Thanks
BTW,it is Away-4

Btw ,if anyone wants to say that maybe my far frustum plane is too close ,so no, I set near to 10 and far to 20000 and the distance from the hover cam to the floor is around 1000.

Try more segments in your floor plane.

How much more? I did with 4 .And why does it happens in the first place?
The HoverController class has got only some motion logics as far as I see .

Frustum culling has to be calculated somehow. If you have a huge triangle, with no vertices within the camera frustum, the engine might decide that triangle doesn’t need to be drawn. Adding more segments to the plane reduces the chances of the floor being culled. I’ve never delved into Away3D 4.0’s culling routine, but have seen this behaviour in other 3D engines.
I also noticed this in Darcey’s multiple 3D object demo ( http://away3d.com/forum/viewthread/534/), which hasn’t been updated for the release player, so don’t bother trying it…

What you say is right but why then it works fine with the regular camera.I think if it were a culling stuff so I would be getting the same result with the standard camera. But I will recheck it adding more triangles .Thanks
