Leap Motion - First Impressions

The Leap Motion controller has been released and I just received mine in the post.

Not having anything better to do today, I thought I’d try out the AS3 library, together with Away3D naturally.

Generally I’m very impressed. It’s as good as a Wii controller, without the controller.

Here’s a quick video of a panorama explorer I made within about an hour.

It’s well worth a look, especially for installations in public places, such as museums, where mouse and keyboard are impractical.

I missed a trick with the first version.
Why not use the z-axis for zoom?
