hey fabrice, when importing 3ds into the latest prefab it still has the wrong values. the model shows up fine, but the values are wrong. position of all meshes say 0, 0, 0. same with rotation.
for me these values are not important, but it seems to be buggy.
important for me are the rotation angles. they arent imported correctly, too.
so when i rotate my meshes they dont rotate as they should do ^^

best regards manu

The parser was wrong for many 3ds files, now it displays them as it should.
So in this regard, it’s correct and expected behavior.
I’ll try to add some optional loading options for 3ds to prevent transforms to be applied by default.

thank you very much.
how fast are you able to do this? im just asking because i really need the correct angles.
i would use another format but when trying collada the uv-map is broken ... but i think this happens in cinema4d.
so using 3ds seems to be the only way to go for me at the moment.

If you use c4d, why not export as awd2 using the exporter made by 80prozent?  search topic c4d awd bridge in this forum.
I usually release a update when a “certain” amount of things has been done, from fixes to new stuffs. I’ve just released 2.142, so it will take again a few weeks before I push a new update…
