Designstor is a growing Toronto-based digital media studio that specializes in 3D architectural visualization services and interactive systems. Our clients include some of the top architecture, real estate development firms and real estate marketing agencies in Canada and the United States. Designstor is looking for an Interactive Developer to join our team on a full-time contract basis. The ideal candidate will posses not only strong development skills, but practical knowledge on how to execute concepts in an optimal way. Experience with ‘Flash ActionScript 3’ is a must for this position. We are looking for a technically minded individual with Flash development and debugging skills. Designstor is looking for a highly motivated, talented individual who has practical skills to make concepts come to life. This is an on-site position to be performed in our office in downtown Toronto.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior interactive developer to implement provided development direction.
• Update and maintain existing projects and installations.
• Adhere to internal code methodologies and naming conventions.
• Ability to work independently, as well as within a team of developers.
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills.
• Highly motivated and a keenness to learn new techniques and skills.
• Prioritise and manage multiple assignments to meet deadlines.

Required Skills:

• ActionScript 3. Must be comfortable working with large projects made up of multiple class files.
• Flash Professional CS5+

Basic proficiency with:
• Flash Builder
• SVN repositories
• Photoshop
• Illustrator

Bonus requirements:

• Publishing Adobe AIR
• PHP/MySQL
• HTML/CSS
• C#
• Away3D
