Hello!
I have a simple cube mesh in Blender which bone is scaled during the animation time.
When i export it to AWD and play the animation in the Away Builder, the cube is not scaling.
Is this common for any 3D engine feature implemented in Away3D?

No. No joint scaling available. :(
This is to minimize resource-cost per joint on GPU.
Now with the agal/stage3d limits getting expanded, i think joint-scaling should get enabled at some point…

Does AWD itself store bone scaling information within animation?
I guess AWD does not support it in first place.
Though, MD5 does store.

Yes, you are right..atm awd does not store the jointscale. But once away3d supports joint-scaling, it will not be a big issue to include the needed data in the export…
