I think one of the biggest barriers to people using the AWD format is the time it takes to convert existing models into AWD format. Enabling files to be batch converted would surely attract a large group of already skilled users to this format. For my self I have several thousand models I wish to use in Away3D but converting them individually is quite painstaking.
