Would using away3d for 2d be bad for performance compared to a gpu 2d engine?

I am not one, but I’m trying to follow the directions here to make it work: Once I get things working I’ll gladly post a basic setup. If you only need 2D though, you would have an easier time with Genome or Starling. |
