Hey guys,

i’d like to add real reflectiveness to my 3D Model, which is a Mesh. Is there any possibility in 3.6 or in broomstick?

What do you mean by real reflectiveness?

He means a real time “Ray Tracing” on the floor surface , this is very normal but very practical effects!

Li posted to me, that they work on the problem with the ReflectivePlane. This Plane does real reflections.

The best thing would be to have a real reflecting material (without Environment Map), so I can see other meshes or faces from the same mesh in this “mirror material”

Ah yes, the ReflectivePlane should take care of that sort of stuff, limited of course to a planar reflective surface.

Hi,
its me again. I now have to upgrade my project to 4.0. So i wonder, if there is such a material in Away3D 4.0 Beta.

I would be thankful to for a good tutorial for the material concept of 4.0
