Texture applied to PathExtrusion

Dear forum,

I am using lastest version for flash player 10 of Away3d, and I have found some issues regarding the user of textures (bitmaps) with extrusions (PathExtrusion). We have to create a kind of catapult, so we are recreating the path according mousemovements. With no texture, we can see the shape is generated correctly. But, when we apply a texture, it is not rendered correctly all the time; at some frames, it is, and at other ones, no.

Attached, you can see the two cases: when texture is rendered correctly, and when is not. I have played with all parameters for PathExtrusion, and also tried Renderer.INTERSECTING_OBJECTS and Renderer.CORRECT_Z_ORDER, but I haven’t found a solution yet.

Just for the sake of test, can you run your code in 3.5 (probably on Number3D/vector3D changes). While rewriting the classes for 4.0, I have noticed several bugs in the 3.6 version that were not there in 3.5… I don’t think that the artefact I see on the pict is related to sorting.

if you have only the “catapult” in scenery, doe it work ok?

oh and… why not flash 11?
