Writing custom car behaviour

I’ve seen the physics car example which is nice, but I need to write my own car with its own behavior. Previously I’ve worked with JigLibFlash where the entire code is written in ActionScript. Away3D Physics uses Alchemy (c++) and this is also used in the physics car example.
If I want to write my own car script, do I have to learn about Alchemy/c++ or can I still write it in action script?

You just set the cars tuning etc in AS3.
NO Alchemy needed.
Look at the physics examples on Git.

So you’re saying that the Alchemy car code is so generic it can do any behavior that’s desired by setting a few vars? I doubt that raspberry
JigLibFlash also had a standard car script but if I were to only change the variables on that script I would not have gotten the desired car behavior.
Thanks for your reply though!

Nope, you just did. Its a ray cast vehicle.

Perhaps you should define what the “behaviour” and “my own car script” actually means.

Obviously if you need to change/rebuild swc/bullet then you need more than As3 raspberry
