Looking for the example files for this tutorial http://away3d.com/tutorials/3DS_Max_Workflow No f.iles there, and I’ve downloaded the tutorial bundle from github and the src folder of that example only has the .html instructions file. Anyone know if I can get a hold of this or point me in the right direction of any similar tutorials which will go through the importing of 3D models? My animator is using Maya but the format looks the same as you would get from 3DMax.

Ideally I’d want the Maya exporter, as that’s what all of our animation sets are made in, and exporting those out to 3ds max nicely was another hurdle that I didn’t manage to satisfactorily solve. The stumbling block I faced was compiling pyAWD, surely someone has managed to build it for win x64 ? |

Its a bit of a pain as Maya can do all the fk/skeleton stuff. But the exporter only wants the mesh(skin) and bones. So make it simple and test. |
