None of the examples or tutorials that I have found seem to be working for away3d 4. Where should I be looking?
Is Away3d 4 evolved enough for me to invest my time in it?

I believe that the latest version has some significant modifications for which we need to adapt Away3D 4.x. It’s not that complicated but it takes a while. Don’t worry, the examples should be working again very soon. Regarding your second question, I’d say yes, very much, Away3D 4.x is very advanced and powerful engine. I recommend diving into it even though it still relies on a beta flash player, for learning and understanding it mainly. I have been doing so for a while and its a whole new awesome world. |
