Residual image over the View3D after removing a flash layer.

Hello,

I have a problem displaying my 3D scene.
When the 3D stuff was the first thing to appear on stage, everything was just fine.
And now that I added a menu, when it disappears to let the 3D scene appear, I can still see the menu where the View3D should be (it doesn’t take the whole screen, the GUI is still in Flash).

Also, the clicks go through this residual image of my menu. The frames are rendered, but just won’t show up, hidden by something that’s not even there anymore.
Can someone please give me a solution ? (And an explanation)

Thanks in advance smile

assuming you have set debug true and there are no errors.
you probably addchild a sprite with a background and your menu in it.
Even if you specify that it must be set behind everything, even if its truly set behind any display object,  its still in front of the 3d layer.
Because displaylist is always rendered above. check the way the player layers are made on adobe site… video, stage3d and displaylist. in that order only.

Turns out it was my fault.
I didn’t clean my menu correctly.
Sorry for the useless topic, you can delete it if you wish.
