tiled cubes with directionallight cause seams between meshes

Hello, I noticed that making an array of cubes 10x10 and viewed from above causes intermittent “borders” or lines/seams between the cubes if a directional light is applied to cubes and the camera moves.  Is there a way to fix this? 
it’s like the cubes are clipping each other? not sure…

any help is greatly appreciated,
