We are making a game in Away3D and one element we wanted to have was for certain projectiles to give off light so they illuminate nearby objects as they move. I set this up by adding a light to the scene when the projectile spawns, moving the light with the projectile, and removing the light when the projectile disappears. However, this causes the engine to stutter each time a projectile is fired. Does the engine not handle adding lights to the scene well? Any tips?
