Everything’s dark when using CascadeShadows [solved]

You might be able to fix that by lowering the CascadeShadowMapMethod epsilon value.

I used to solve this by finding the right epsilon value, but in Away Builder changing epsilon doesn’t seem to do anything. Which confused me. Setting epsilon to 0.006 in the code helped though, just like the last time.


Aaand changing a material to multipass causes it to crash with range error #1125.

I’m late to this discussion, and I can’t offer a solution, but as far as I can see from my experience is that the CSM ignores the base method epsilon.. completely. Also Away Builder sadly is a bug fest…. I had to ask on of our programer to correct some of the bugs, like secondary UV display and so on… that tool needs a lot of hard work to be worth using.
