Multimaterials and Texture coordinates not supported in Away Builder?

Hi everybody!

Our team recently decided to move from Alternativa to Away. So I’m quite new here smile

Since the first few days of testing I’ve came across two problems, and can’t seem to find a solution online.

I’m using Max 2012 for modeling and export.

Problems are:

1) Can’t export import models with multimaterials applied to them ( more than one texture to a mesh). Neither prefab nor Abuilder can’t read the materials.

2) Models have wrong texture coordinates in Abuilder and when loaded in the engine itself, but load correctly in Prefab.

I tried all possible export formats including AWD and no success at all.

Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks! smile

#1 Prefab does support multiple materials, what is the format that you load? (as I’m busy on an update may be I could fix the prob, if indeed there’s one, please provide me the file that is not displayed correctly with all its dependencies, send it to fabrice3d at gmail dot com)

#2 can’t say about the mapping as I never use AB.Same as #1, I could test the export if indeed something goes wrong once loaded into Away3D.

Thanks for the fast reply and cooperation Fabrice!

I’ll send you the scene right away.

As for the UV problem we managed to make it work: the model had tiled textures, and when opened in prefab it sets Repeat to True, and then when exported from prefab to builder as awd it works.
