Hi, I was wondering is there a neat and elegant way build in the Away3D engine that would allow me to mouse pick a particle? Precisely - is there a mechanism in the engine or in the particle engine itself that would allow me, given a point on stage or in space, to check if a particle is hit and in some way to get information about this hit one (most valuable would be a reference to the particle object or at least index). I can think of a manual way to do it provided I make velocities LOCAL_GLOBAL and can access them whenever I want, but I just wonder if there’s something already done and possibly yet tested and working somewhere.
