Hi there,

I’ve spent a lot of time trying to load a model in away3d, two weeks exactly! :(( but I have any solution… I’dont know if is the model is too complex for away3d (I don’t think so) or if the model has any feature that away3d or stage3d doesn’t support.

The model is now in .dae. I have try with .obj too without any successful result.

I’have try with Prefab too, but I canĀ“t instace the class or load the AWD.
Anybody can help me or advise me??

I have attached the model, if anybody wan’t try with it.

Excuse me for my horrible english!

Awesome forum!
Thanks to all!

Javi

Your model loads just fine in Prefab. Simply export as as3. You can look at the example project that is outputed (simply do new myProject()) if you are having problems setting up.
Otherwize simply instanciate your class (the class withg the name you entered).
Instead of 2 weeks, this should take less than 2 minutes.

If you export as awd. Make sure you set the option “collapse” on, as your model is having multiple materials. Which is unsupported in awd 2.0 specs.
Also, prefab warns you that your maps are not having propper power of two sizes. Make sure that the maps that you load in Away3D are corrected.
