I’m trying to build a dungeon crawler prototype, but I’m having trouble with the plane meshes of the enemies clipping through the walls/floors/ceilings, despite them being the same size.
In the attached image the enemy plane has a black border around its sprite so you can see that it should be sitting on top of the floor and ceiling tiles in the centre of the view, but instead it’s clipping through them.
For some reason it’s being displayed behind the tiles that are in front of it on the z or x axis, because if I spawn it closer the camera then it suddenly appears in front, but I’m a complete newbie at away3d and have no idea how to go about it.
I’ve tried adding the enemies to the stage after the dungeon tiles, but that hasn’t made a difference.
Any help at all would be appreciated.
