Is it a good idea to use starling as the UI for Awaay3D.?

I have got both set up and working. where starling is on top of the away3d view.

When Starling isn’t I wouldn’t know what is wink

I haven’t integrated Starling yet, but it’s one of out next priorities. At the moment we use classic Flex UI on top of Away3D using transparencies. That drains a lot of live from the FPS counter… Apparently there’s some waiting required for blending 2D overlay with 3D viewport. On the iPad more so than on Desktop.
