Shading problems with high poly model

Hi - I’ve been having trouble getting a high poly to shade as a uniform surface, it seems each face has a different shading direction and makes the model look like its bulging. I know one way to fix it would be to pre bake the texture, but again its a complex model and I’d rather not have to do it that way.

Any thoughts on if there is something I can do via Away3d4.x to fix the problem would be greatly appreciated. I have tried applying a Weld but the whole model disappears when I do.

Thanks in advance
-Dave M.

It sounds like you may have weird normals in your model. Where are you exporting it from, and using what file format?
