Hi all,

I would like to have a single application that can load multiple group of objects, depending on the user’s choice (eg: loading a middle age army or a modern army, or humans or aliens, etc.). So the user can select what kind of characters and enviroment he will use.

Is it possible to embed groups of 3d objects (and textures) in separated swf’s to be used later by the main application?

What’s the best way to do this?

Thanks in advance smile

After some tests it seems my best option is embed only the 3d objects and textures in the external swf and use a kind of generic class to create them in the main swf. So for example ‘Warrior.as’ in the main swf would use ‘warrior.3ds’ and ‘warrior.jpg’ from the external swf. This way I can have different external swf’s containing different models of warrior.3ds.
