Mac computers not rendering correctly?

I got my game working great but some Mac owners are telling me that when they play the game they get weird artifacts effects on skybox and on alpha in general (alpha appearing black) but with no errors showing on FP debug. Anyone has any idea what could be the problem? (graphic card? driver? FP mac player? Away3D?) And (I doubt it) maybe any solution? Just knowing why they get that would be great.

I don’t know if it will help you, but I built my project on Mac and haven’t got any “platform-specific” problems, other than the mouse lag on chrome browser.

yeah that helps narrowing down the possible cause. I’m guessing FP or drivers. Thx.

This is something that I’ve come across during a recent project too. I tracked it down to being an issue with the way some chipsets (such as those used in Macbook Air) handle division by zero in fragment shaders. I’ve fixed it in the release branch and it will be in the stable (“gold”) release of Away3D 4.0. The bug was tracked here:
