I apologize in advance for Google translate.

How to make so that you can add one mesh to another, so that the first mesh is also animated.
For example, there is a man. We want to add a mesh “pants”. How to make pants were under the influence of bone?. That is not only changed their position and rotation, depending on the desired dice, but such bent.
Thanks in advance.

Try to add your pants+animation to an ObjectContainer instead of another mesh.

Pants don’t e an animation (This is just an example. Can take such as Chest). We need to add a completely regular mesh to mesh with SmoothSkeletonAnimator

Bones animations usually require a predefined geometry. I doubt you can use any animation with any geometry. Perhaps I don’t understand the question.

I don’t think so. Maybe you could create your own custom solution for that but it’s beyond my knowledge.

You didn’t specify your context, if this is for a game then you should probably forget about it : that’s not the way to handle it. I doubt even the most recent game engines would do that.

This is typically handled with a few different meshes and texture sets. I think some games replace parts of the base mesh directly but not sure about that, never took the time to look into that possibility.

As Matse says. U cant do that.
I can only replace geometry of main object.. U want to create naked man..
then U must create all bodyparts: head, chest, neck, legs, feet etc.
And then u just replace geometry of legs by ur pants with predefinied weights..

I dont have examples,, and cant write u some code for this.. it’s just how I made in another 3d engine unity3d.
