Is it possible to create simple round-shaped shadow for character? For example, it should work like PointLight of black color and with fallOff, which is limited by character’s height. Of course, it shouldn’t affect a character’s mesh.
For my scene (actually, it’s a room) I used baked light textures for static meshes. For movable characters I use vertically-oriented ProjectiveTexture method, where Texture is desired lightmap.
I tried to use ProjectiveTexture to simulate shadow casting. But it hasn’t any “radius”, or “distance” property. That’s why I need what is at the start of topic. The question is how to do it fast I don’t want to use any real light sources.
