Texturing problem(smudging/blurring)

Hello,

I am having trouble with importing some 3ds files into away3d properly. Somehow the textures are smudged/blurred in a strange way(See the attached picture). Has anybody seen this kind of error before and knows how to fix this?

I am using the latest Away3D 4 dev branch. All the ressources appear to be loaded properly when the model is loaded. A bit odd is, that the same texture works on another piece of the model.

Since I am pretty new to 3d-programming, I really have no clue where I should start searching. Thank you for your help in advance.

Have you unwraped your model? It looks like the UV of your model are not set properly.

You have probably repeated your map in your editor, so you need to set repeat to true on your material in Away as well.
As your model has uv’s with other values than 0-1.
