Does antialiasing only work in the browser?

In my Away3d 4 project I’m using view.antiAlias = 8. If I test it in the browser, the antialiasing shows up fine.

If I test it in the standalone flash 11 player, though, or in an air 3.1 project, there’s no antialiasing. Is this a known issue or should this be working?

Context3d.driverInfo returns “directx 9 (direct blitting)” in all cases, so it does appear to be running in hardware mode.

I’m testing on win7 64-bit.
Flash player version: 11.1.102.62 (released feb 15). I also tried the previous one - 11.1.102.55

Thanks!

EDIT: Fixed! It turned out to be a setting in the nvidia control panel. At some point I had set it to force 8x antialiasing, which strangely prevented any antialiasing in the flash player. Setting it back to “application controlled” fixed the problem.
