Master or Dev branch from Github?

Hi all,
I’m working in a small away3d v4 project and I’m currently using the latest master branch from github, which is not updated since 7th December.

Should I work with the dev branch in order to keep my code ‘up to date’ when a new master branch is released?

It must be a big difference between the master and dev code already, but I don’t know how stable the current dev branch is compared to the master (I’m tempted to try it out).

Thanks for the hard work!

Using the “dev” branche is a very good thing to do as it will become the next master in a very near future. It is already quite different than the “master” branch. As you might become annoyed of a having your project broken on a dayly basis, I would keep master for the project and start play around with the “dev” branche.
I recommand looking at materials, lights and primitives generation.

That’s what I was thinking about, thanks for clarify it. I will have a go with ‘dev’ and keep master for the final project at the moment smile
