ObjParser and mtl file support

Hi,

I was wondering if further support for .mtl files will eventually be implemented? For example, I see that right now the “map_Ks” and “bump” are not supported.

Hello everyone. I have a similar question I hope someone can help me I’m breaking my head. I have seen many post on the net open but no conclusion at all.
From where I can understand Away load obj files where mtl routed texture, this is, a jpg or png. But when, mtl, only carries information of color, specularity, illumination, etc, does not work and only loads the model in wireframe mode. Is this true? Is there some model that is only the obj and mtl that loads right on Away3d (just an example so I can figure out how it works)? I tried to import and export in all formats and software with all possible variations of parameters but Away3D or preFab still loading models without its correct color.

Latest parser do support color materials in 4.0. In 3.x or lower and Prefab, there is no support for these color objects. Prefab 1.5 will not be updated as I focus on 2.0. But an update of 3.6 should be possible…
