Hi

Is it possible to apply light maps to textures in Away4?
I’m a bit of a 3D noob so not even sure that’s the right term - I want to have areas of a texture appear self illuminating (ignore shadows) like if I had LEDs on a dashboard or lights in tower block windows.

I figured out bump (normal?) maps and specular maps - thought there might be something like lightMap I could feed a greyscale image to?

Thanks for any help

I think you can set that up in prefab. Set up lights there and then render the textures.

watch these tutorial the second on shows how to set up lights

I think we mean what is called an “emitter map” in Unity.  It basically looks as though the texture is a light.  You’d use it for something like strips of light on a walkway or lights in windows on a high rise building.
