I must apologise that my first post here is to request for help. Hopefully I can repay the community in the future. For now, please help me if you can.

I am looking to build a simple ‘planet’ with a character on it. The user should be able to move the character around by clicking on points of the planet (sphere), although keyboard presses will suffice if it is difficult.

For those of you who are not able to check the link, I am after something like Mario Galaxy.

I have installed Away3D 3.6 and JibLibFlash. What is the best way to approach my project? Direct solutions or links to relevant tutorials are truly appreciated.
