I think that its is Md2 format problem. Vertex and Normals are stored as unsigned char and have little precysion (0-255) thats why when i export 3ds to md2 i see mesh deformation. Dark gaps are error on calulating light. When exporting to Md2 normal vectors are “swaped” to next integer value (0-255) and this distortion cause dark shadow gaps in place where mesh surface have acute angle.

Thanks for help:P

How did you even export from max to md2?

I only have max 2013.
