Hello everyone,

Has anyone succeeded in exporting multiple actions/animations from Blender into away3d using the md5 process?

I have been wondering; are each skeletal animation needed to be exported in seperate md5anim files, or multiple “actions” can be contained within a single file?

I have only managed to have one animation work, and I’m wondering about the next steps.

Thanks!

Alright, I think I understand how this works.

I have made my whole animation in Blender, walk (0-10 frames), death (11-15 frames)

Then, I select 0-10 in the timeline and export the anim only md5 and name it walk (walk.md5anim)

I then select 11-15 in the timeline and export the other anim named death.md5anim.

Afterwards, in my project, I load both files and attach them with addSequence to my character mesh.

Finally I alternate between the two when needed using the play(name) function.

Great thing about seperated anim assets is that I can reuse them for multiple different character meshes.
