Any way to lighten up a shadow?

I’ve sorted out how to use basic shadows now, but I’m finding that they’re very, very dark.  Pure black, actually.  Which makes for a rather dramatic shadow.  Is there any way to lighten them up and let some of the material show though?  Like a shadow alpha?

Thanks!  smile

(And sorry for so many posts!  I’m excited to learn all this stuff.  smile)

This question has been asked a couple of times and unfortunately there is no way to change the “alpha” or “strength” of a shadow right now. There’s a feature request for this at GitHub that you can track here: http://github.com/away3d/away3d-core-fp11/issues/169

Hopefully it will make it into the stable (“gold”) Away3D 4.0 release.
