Hello i’m trying to export from 3d max an md2 file without success.Any tutorial about how to export a mesh,animator from 3d max or quake 2 model editor, blender
some error messages
rror: Error #2030: End of file was encountered.
at flash.utils::ByteArray/readUTFBytes()
at away3d.loaders.parsers::MD2Parser/parseMaterialNames()[/parsers/MD2Parser.as:242]
and on AssetEvent.ASSET_COMPLETE i’m getting only animator,texture property not mesh which is important in order to add the 3d object.
Any ideas

almost the same for me, tried few different exporters
but after parsing I have only VertexAnimator and Texture
have no idea how to get mesh itself

Can one of you provide a faulty md2 file + resources and a good description on frames, framenames, exporter, properties etc… please. (send me the files offline)

Seams your md2 file is corrupt or something went wrong during upload. I cannot download this file… (looking at the downloads count, I guess I’m not the only one)
