How to calculate 3D Position of Mouse on a Mesh

Hey!

Can anyone provide an example, how to calculate the 3D-Coordinates on the surface of a sphere, which correlates to the 2D-Position of the Mouse-Cursor on the screen?

In my case, it’s not possible to rely on any Listeners, like MouseMove, etc. I was looking for a permanent solution. I tried MouseRaycast but had no success with that…

It would be really nice if someone could post an example or a hint.

Okay, i just discovered the forceMouseMove-Property of the view. Could be a solution, but is it efficient?
