Hi,
I bought HTC (EVO 3D) with Android 2.3.3, when I try publishing away3D game on my HTC, it show nothing 3D on screen, and in AWAY STATS I have DRIVER: - 

Its posible run AWAY 3D (AIR for andorid .apk)aplication on androd 2.3.3 ?
(I use Flash profeional CS 5.5, and I have set ADOBE AIR 3, and AIR for andorid correctly)

The latest I’ve seen is that Stage3D for mobile is “still on track for the first half of 2012”.  So the short answer is: not yet, but hopefully soon.

If you install the new Adobe air 3.2 beta for android you can use Stage3D

This is for downloading the runtime on Windows, but did you actually manage to run Stage3D on Android with the SDK?

The version of Air on labs does not support stage3d on mobile.  Currently stage3d for mobile IS available in the prerelease beta program but you have to be a member of that. 

Stage3D mobile will be part of the AIR 3.2 release - the performance looks pretty good.

Thats too bad.. I can’t wait to test out the performance of my game project on my android tablet and phone.

Is it possible to register to Adobe alpha program, or is it limited to internal members?

Hope I can get my hands on that APK soon wink

I managed to get my hands on the alpha 3.2 AIR for android, but I still get the “no view” when running it.

Has anyone managed to get something running using Away3D ?

the nda answer: yes we managed to make something that runs smoothly on these devices.

I haven’t tried mobile yet with latest beta, but I got similar issues for Prefab (desktop). The problem was solved by adding the new tag to app descriptor.<depthAndStencil>true</depthAndStencil> to the initialWindow node.
I don’t know if it would fix your issue, but I thought I’d mention it.

Thanks Fabrice, I have not found any documentation about the depthAndStencil setting for the Air application descriptor:

Could it be a setting that’s no longer supported?—> It’s the exact opposite. The tag is required to publish with the very latest builds.
I have no idea yet if it’s a desktop only requirement.

The depthAndStencil tag is for the AIR 3.2 release,  when that gets made public there will be docs

I am trying to load .3ds from assets folder which i added using “include files” in CS5.5, but without success, debugger says “stream error app:/assets/file.3ds”. Works only with embed inside swf, like in the examples on github. I guess it’s an air or my problem, not away3d. Everything loads with texture files (.png) but not models. Anyone knows why?

After changing publish settings goto YourApp.xml and add this tag
<depthAndStencil>true</depthAndStencil> inside initialWindow block.
Also change <renderMode>direct</renderMode> instead of <renderMode>whateva</renderMode>
