hi

a while ago i wanted to do the same thing.

its a shame.

i had no success.

i found no md5 export plugin for c4d (i cant remember if i found any, but i definitly found no one that worked).

i ended up going from c4d to blender, and export as md5 from there.

still had problems with the scene orientation (c4d is different to blender, blender is different to away3d).

i dont like md5 (and Blender) to much, so i gave up on this.

i believe there is a working collada parser on git. i didnt tried it yet, but it looks quite promising (supports skeleton animation).

Thanks for your reply 80prozent. I’ve tried C4D to Blender but the plugin was throwing errors so I resorted to using a this tutorial.

http://videometry.blogspot.com/2011/05/mocap-to-molehill-via-3d-studio-max-and.html

Using C4D I export to .dae
Imported to Max
Export to md5mesh and md5anim

I wish the workflow was more direct but I’m just happy it’s able to export to md5.
