3DS Last update : ColorMaterial instead of BitmapMaterial

Hi guys,

Do you have the same problem as me?

Since the last update on 3DS model it looks like my BitmapMaterial coming out of 3DSmax 2012 are interpreted as simple ColorMaterial meaning that no texture is loaded.

It was working perfectly before last update.

AssetEvent.ASSET_COMPLETE
trace(event.asset)

now :
[object ColorMaterial]
[object Geometry]
[object Mesh]

before :
[object BitmapDataAsset]
[object BitmapMaterial]
[object Geometry]
[object Mesh]

Ok.. I downloaded blender.

imported the .3ds exported by 3dsmax2012 in blender
done no modification and exported it again as a .3ds
model loads with texture but distorted a bit.

Conclusion the new 3DS Parser doesnt work well with 3DS2012 texture.
Use Blender

Thank you for sending your file. With it I was able to identify the bug and fix it. If you pull from GitHub now you should be able to use your original file without running it through Blender. Thanks!
