Previous releases contained Collada.as and ColladaParser.as. Looks like latest away3d-core-fp11 has no collada files.Is Collada (.dae) supported now?

There was a (mostly empty) class called ColladaParser.as which was essentially a placeholder, but it never did anything and was removed. We will try to support COLLADA eventually, although we urge all users to try to use other formats when possible, because COLLADA is not a great format for use on the web. |
