hello I was wondering if sombody could tell me the basic steps in exporting a model with animation from blender 2.49b using the “Collada 1.4.1 Importer for Blender” found at ttp://teraapi.com/collada4blender/index.htm. thank you.

I don’t know about that particular script, but it looks like it’s just an importer. Also, I’m pretty sure there was already an exporter for COLLADA in Blender 2.4x. But why don’t you upgrade to Blender 2.5x?

I also use blender 2.58 but have been unable to export animation. when I export a model that is parented to armature with animation, how do I view this animation? How do I refer to it? Does the animation have the same name as I assigned in the blender action editor? I don’t see the name of my animation anywhere in the exported xml collada file.
